It worked perfectly! I'm amazed that we can still get parts for my old dryer. They were totally built to last back then, and I don't care about all of the bells and whistles of the new stuff!

Do it yourself

The part was very inexpensive compared to calling in a repairperson for your clothes dryer. it does not take much effort to do it yourself if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and have a few basic tools.

Comes with the retaining nut and washer

This came with the retaining nut and a nylon washer. It's pretty easy to replace the old pulley once you get the dryer drum out of the dryer. My model did not have the washer with the old pulley and when I tried it with the replacement, the washer made a vibrating sound and I had to remove it. I am still getting an occasional squeaking sound from the dryer, but before it was constant.

An excellent replacement pulley with washer and nut included

The pulley fit perfectly and included a replacement washer and friction nut. The only way to improve the product would be to include a small tube of lubricant that's safe to use on plastic in higher temperatures. I recommend this product.
