Comfortable Bed. Comfortable Doggy.

My dog’s previous bed was not only really old, but the cushions inside of it was so flat that even when you try to straighten it out the results were the same. Making it look like a flat bed that didn’t really look all that appealing. I was hesitant to find another bed at first. Given that the last time I tried, my dog didn’t want to lay in it at all. Meaning I had to return it. Stumbled upon this bed and I liked the options I was viewing for this particular dog bed. My dog is a 20lbs 8-year old healthy lil’ ShihTzu. And even though i could’ve gone for a Medium, checking the reviews allowed me to think carefully and stuck with a Large. Plus, knowing my weird little boy, I knew for a fact he’d like a bed that’d give him a bit more space for whenever he moves around to find a comfortable spot. Needless to say that once the item was delivered and I introduced my dog to it, I was astonished that he actually went over and immediately placed himself on his new bed. He became quite comfortable with it not long after resting on it. Which is a good sign! He looks just as content as he did with his ragged flat old doggy bed. This is genuinely a good bed for dogs. And I’d highly recommend it. I’d also recommend getting the bed in a slightly larger size, depending on the breed of dog you have. I know my ShihTzu is a small dog. But he’s bigger than your average. Hence why I had to settle for a bigger bed for him. Overall, a purchase well made. A comfortable dog is a happy one.

He loves it

I got his new bed today and he absolutely loves it. As soon as I put it on the floor he got on it and fell fast asleep. He has arthritis and it's getting harder for him to even use his little stairs to get up on the couch so I'm praying this helps him to be comfortable on the days he has trouble. I did buy a medium size so he has room to move around.

Great bed!

This is a great quality bed insert and I love being able to take it all apart and wash the cover. The only downside is that the cover material isn't as great of quality as I had hoped for the price.

A bit small but my dog loves it

I ordered a large for my 65 pound pitbull mix who could not be less interested. But my German Shepard mix loves it! He drags it from room to room and has stopped sleeping on our bed at night. I expected it to be a little bit bigger but the dimensions are 3ft x 2.25ft. I haven’t washed it yet but there is a zipper to take off the entire cover.

The egg shell mattress is a bit thin and not very firm.

Being I bought the discounted, returned product. I received a different dog bed then described the one I received, the one I received has no rolled side n back but it has a built in blanket and my Beagle, Boxer mix loves it. So I kept it.

Ortho dog bed

Fairly good support, not enough for a large dog. My girl is 47lbs with hip dysplasia; after a long run on the beach she chooses this bed for her nap. Not good for a very, very active dog or bigger dog.

Waste of money

Just received this and so disappointing. Reviews were great. The item came folded up in a tiny box inside a box that was large enough to hold it?????‍♀️ So many loose threads that needed to be cut poor quality. Bed was so smushed I’m pretty sure the orthopaedic part of it no longer exists. I could get a way better bed and better quality from Costco. Cheapest flimsiest material ever. Scared to wash it once. I wouldn’t buy this bed for ten dollars . I literally just inboxed it and it’s going right back in to be returned.

Not a memory foam, cheap regular foam

Not a memory foam! Thin and flimsy and super cheap fabric. So cheaply made, one corner of the foam in the base is thinner than the rest of the padding, so it's not even same height everywhere. Cat sniffed it and never came back to even look at it. Will give it one more day and then return. Not worth the money at all. Do not recommend. The only good thing about it is that it looks pretty, but otherwise totally does not match description.

Do not buy, waste of money

Hugely disappointed. Went off of the awesome reviews. Looks like they were paid for because I can’t believe anyone giving this bed such a good review. It is totally shapeless. The piece of foam inside is no where close to big enough for the cover. It was squished into a small box without any plastic to protect it. It feels awful. There were loads of loose threads. It might be worth $10 but certainly not $43. It is most definitely NOT a “deluxe” bed, quite the opposite. Super thin and cheaply made.

These beds are not deluxe OR orthopedic! I'm not sure why the positive reviews. This is the second dog bed I order from FurHaven. Cheap, very thin triangular foam (not eggshell) lining even after trying to fluff the bed. Dogs may as well lay on the floor. Does not look like the picture at all. Very disappointing.

You get what you pay for.

Bought this bed for my old dog since he likes to have a bolster, but needs to be able to step up easily. First, this bed is a lot less substantial than other orthopedic beds, no support foam or memory foam. It is just a layer of foam with pointed cones on the top. It is less than a year old and it is not lasting. The cover has holes and the foam cones are coming off. My dog is not rough with his bed, just normal scratching from a 16 year old arthric dog.
