hood is too short to reliably stay over forehead

at the end of the day, it works. I was a bit concerned when it literally looks like someone took a tent tarp & made a jacket and pants - but it works (just don't expect it to breathe much) my biggest gripe is they oversized the torso & yet they didn't oversize the hood so I find myself always wanting to tug on it to cover my forehead. I have a small head too. it's nice they include a bag but good luck trying to get both pieces in. I haven't been in rain heavy enough to use the pants so I keep that in the sack for now. I will come back & comment later when I use them. for the price I paid, I can't complain about getting a 2-piece suit. Pants were a bonus. I think it's too bulky to go backpacking with - car camping its definitely fine! you are better off getting much more expensive tech wear if backpacking is what you have in mind.

Great overall, seams are a probably going to pop

Let's be fair it's not that expensive and for the price it's great but this seam on the leg is already tearing. But it's a small leak so it's fine

Great quality

Immediately after unpacking both the jacket and pants I could tell these were very good quality. The stitching was superb and I'm simply amazed at how light weight both items are. These aren't made to run through the woods as I'm sure they wouldn't hold up well to a snag. But i didn't buy them for that. Remember this is rain gear and that's exactly what it best at. I would definitely recommend buying these jackets and pants! Trying them on for the first time, I couldn't even tell I had anything on over my clothing. Absolutely love the fact that my new rain gear will be practically weightless!!

Worth the money

Even riding a motorbike in the heavest of Scottish rain, these kept me dry. Only downfall is in l/xl size the only clear I could get was blue so a white pair of shorts and white hat I could look like a Smurf. But seriously worth the money.

To pricey for easily torn material

I use this on my small motor bike. It is great for cutting the cold wind, worn under or over another coat. The material is VERY light and you can put holes in it just rubbing against a brick wall. I've been very careful, but have many small holes now. Seams are starting to show wear in the pants (I have a very loose fitting pair) and leaking already as well. It's really too pricey for what it is, in my opinion. It may be ok for about a season or if you only wear it occasionally. I drive a lot in colder, wetter weather, so need it a lot.

The small medium fits me well. I'm 5ft 10 inches and weigh 165lbs. The pants baggy but allows breathing and good range of motion. I bought this for a long cycling trip. It's super light and will pack in a little space. Better than my Cannondale rain gear that leaks after 1/2 hour in rain. Price great for these. Now if it would only rain!
