This is a great product, but I don't use it for it's ...

This is a great product, but I don't use it for it's advertised use. This bondage tape is essentially window-cling film, which means that it will stick to smooth surfaces and to itself, but it does not have any adhesive on it. I use this to keep decks of cards and paper components together in board games. I cut this to fit in lengths of 5-10 inches, and wrap it around the components and stick it back to itself. Since there is no adhesive, this won't stick to the components, and it keeps cards compact and in-place during moving or storage. I also use this to keep smaller card boxes closed when carrying them in a tote. Also, since this doesn't use any compression like rubber bands, this won't mar cards and softer cardboard pieces with pressure over time. I don't have any long-term experience with it, but I think the nature of the product as a simple plastic means it won't leave any residue or mark cards over time. This is also a cheaper alternative to the specific-to-board-games commercial products like "*ugo's *mazing *ape" which is the exact same product, but costs more for less product. I've packaged up several games with my first 65' roll, and it's been very pleasant to use.

crap quality

Poor quality. Bought to wrap cards in card games. Issue is the tape doesn't come off the roll properly. The sides of the tape don't peel off which causes the tape to start to rip from the sides.

Not really worth it

I enjoyed the product while it last, however there the roll of tape is quite small (I orderd x2 which came as 1 roll) and for the price clingfill behaves ideticaly and thus is better. If you are nifty and have time it's possible to reuse.
