A little flimsy...

My boyfriend bought a pair of these 30 years ago. The plastic was thicker and stronger. I bought these so that I could have a pair when we go hiking in the woods. A little pricey for the thin plastic. The plastic is a lot thinner and seems more flimsy. They go on easily, so I hope they will work well. We'll see, but I seriously doubt they'll last half as long as my boyfriend's pair.

Flimsy and thin but very easy to put on

Not nearly as heavy-duty as my previous pair of leggings. I use leggings in snake territory to weed eat and avoid 1/2 of snake (head portion) from biting me as well as protect my legs and clothing from weed juice and switches picked up by rotating head. These leggings are very thin plastic that tend to rotate on legs and encumber movement-as compared to heavier plastic leggings that grip legs tighter and stand up to rough use. However, they still provide some protection and you get what you pay for, relative to higher cost of more durable and more costly leggings

Work well to keep my wife out of emergency room for leg injuries.

They work well for what we use them for. My wife likes to walk around the local lake and she keeps running into sticks that break her skin that requires medical attention. These shields keep us out of the emergency room for this type injury. They work well for what we use them for.

Easy to put on but cracked really easily

Very easy to put on and off but they cracked really easily too I had to take them together other than that I don't really like the item it needs some kind of rubber coating on the outside a redesign

Very flimsy and thin plastic

I owned two pair of these in the late 80s, they worked very well and were easy to put on. I thought that is what I was buying, however, when they arrived I immediately noticed the quality was not there, they are made of thin plastic that does not offer the security it used to; they fit loosely and concern me about staying on. No happy at all with the decline in quality of a once good product. I do not recommend.
