High quality hiking socks that deliver blister-free performance and comfort

As expected from Falke these are excellent socks. Their first outing was a 22k hike around the Welsh hills where they performed excellently. Despite being described as "light" they are really quite warm and would not be ideal for warm weather.

Superb Quality Socks

I have purchased several Falke Walking Socks, and these are the lighter version which means they are easy to wear walking on the streets with trainers. The heavier "Ergo" Walkie socks which are also made with Merino Wool, are also fine for the streets but may be more designed for hill walking and hiking. I would now only buy Falke walking socks as I find them super comfortable, top quality and long lasting. Whilst not cheap, the high quality is well worth the expense.

Warm and so comfortable

I have three pairs of these socks and they are by far the best walking socks I have ever had. They are very warm and will probably be too hot for late spring and summer but for autumn, winter and early spring they are perfect.

I love these socks!

I Love these socks! I have had a pair for a couple of years now and really enjoy wearing them, they keep your feet warm in the cold and cool in the heat, and even work to a degree when soaking wet (not a recommended way to wear socks though) . I would not use them on a hot summers day however as they are reasonably thick. I have agonised over spending so much money on a single pair of socks that demand special attention when it comes to washing, but have over time bought a few more pairs and use them as my main walking socks. What must be noted however, is the fact that everybody has different shaped feet, so whilst they are great for me that may not be so for everybody. I guess I have reasonably normal feet (so does everybody though I suppose) which are definitely not wide. I see people complain about the lack of width in shoes that I find a great fit. So perhaps not so great for those who find shoe width a frequent issue, but they are socks and socks stretch so maybe I am being pedantic. Superb quality and well worth the 'ouch' of the price.

Für mich die Besten!

Der Falke Walkie light ist ein echter lieblings Socken, zum wandern oder zu Haus im Winter. Wo andere Socken am Bündchen würgen, schafft Falke es dafür zu sorgen das die Socke angenehm fest sitzt ohne die Wade einzuschnüren. Das er zum wandern gut geeignet ist kann man hier ja reichlich lesen aber auch als "nur zu Hause Socke" zum wohlfühlen und warmhalten ist er für mich genau der Richtige :) Meistens trage ich Schuhe in Größe 46, den Walkie light kaufe ich in 46-48.
