Heads up: do not dry them!

I purchased these because they were inexpensive ($10 for 2) and Columbia is a reputable brand. They’re great socks. Exactly what I was looking for. Warm, cozy, comfy, tall, squishy, all the things that make a good winter sock. However, they shrink CONSIDERABLY in the dryer. That part is obv my fault. I’ve never not thrown my socks in the dryer. I bought these to be taller than my winter boots so the edge doesn’t irritate my leg and… well… lol they’re definitely snug though! I wear size 8.5-9 shoe/boot and with the shrinkage the sock is still wearable, it’s just not as nice as it probably would have been had I not dried it.

Great socks, but…..

Socks are warm, very comfortable and fit well. What I dislike is that they are constantly “pilling”. I pull off lots of little balls of wool every time worn. I wash in cold water and hand dry, so I don’t think washing is the issue. I’ll keep wearing until they become too thin from losing the wool!
