Looks Nice and Solid, Poor Customer Service with Elkay

I bought this one to replace its twin that was 10 years old. With the new faucet, the instructions were missing some of the steps and the escutcheon's gasket was a poor fit. As for the 10 year old faucet, the set screw froze up and no amount of penetrating fluid would break it free. I broke two allen wrenches trying to remove the set screw. When called, Elkay customer service lacked sympathy and said the warranty was no longer valid due to the age. So much for "Lifetime". Also, there are some sections of the warranty that are at Elkay's discretion. So much for good customer service. I bought this one again hoping to just salvage some parts and put them on the old one so I would not have to do a complete install. However, I went ahead and just replaced the whole faucet with this one. The price is good, but whether or not this one will last a "lifetime", I do not know.
