My left knee has been subluxing regularly for 27 years. My orthopedic surgeon introduced me to this brace after my first knee surgery 11 years ago. Imagine my surprise when he suggested the same brace 5 years ago, 2 years ago, and again this week! The brace was been tweaked over the years a bit. I wear it daily, and I feel more stable. I tend to replace it every 6-12 months. The Velcro is usually what prompts me to go shopping. The hinges are removable, and I remove them. As I gain or lose weight, I go up or down a size, or tighten up the straps.

Cuts in to leg

The metal braces cut in to my leg. Idk of its too small or bad design. But I had to return

Bees knees saver

This brace worked amazingly after I dislocated my knee. It was comfy and light but still did the job. Adding a wrap underneath helped with extra comfort and stability, my only complaint about this was the inevitable. After about 2 months use (every day) the Velcro became less adherent but tucking the strap under itself does the job just as well.

I have worn it twice now hoping I would get used to it with use but each time I end up having to take it off and my skin is red and very painful where it's kind of bunched up

While it does help me knee cap pain I think the sizing chart is off. I measured out for the xxl so that is what I ordered but when I tried it on I think I need the xl. I have worn it twice now hoping I would get used to it with use but each time I end up having to take it off and my skin is red and very painful where it's kind of bunched up. Going to message the seller and see what they have to say. Hopefully we can get this worked out.

Too tight

Too tight for me, more like a tourniquet. I measured my knee carefully according to the instructions from Don-Joy. They said I need a Large so I ordered an Extra-Large. Too tight. Sent the Extra-Large back and ordered an XX-Large. Still too tight. I like they way if feels when I walk and it seems to do a good job of patella alignment, but it cuts of blood circulation. Not for every day use. I will try it for golf.

Excellent product. Much less than at a medical supply place. Worth every penny.
