Not brass

The advertisement says solid brass but I don't think so. The actual spout appears to be of thin alloy and the threaded inlet tubes are alloy but the rest is plastic - the base and the knobs. I rarely return stuff but I returned it for a kohler for $5 less which was actually solid metal, probably all brass. I much prefer the look of chrome plated brass to chrome colored plastic. ON the other hand the valve on the delta may be better; feels like the kohler has some sort of pressure washer closure.

The faucet is what I expected it to be. It installed and worked as it should. I am very happy with it.

Easy to install. The instructions should have included putting the gasket between the faucet and the tub though.

cheap material

I purchased this item because I was under the impression it was all metal. well the only thing metal is the interior, the rest is chromeplated plastic, you just can't get quality anymore???
