Close but not quite

This product doesn’t fit as it says it does. I have a smittybuilt 9500xrc wench and the loop on the end of the wire will not fit. I had to use a step bit to bore out the whole about a 1/2” to make it fit.

Great product!

Great for securing winch hook. Did have to trim some material off the upper left corner to gain clearance to use the clamp on Smittybilt license plate holder.

Fits, but...

The hook won't completely sit down inside the isolator. Even though this is specifically for the winch set up I have, it seems the hook is slightly too big. It's still worth it to get rid of the rattles and doesn't look bad, just something to note.

Fantastic

Fits perfectly on my Smittybilt XRC8 standard roller fairlead. The clevis hook is snug & stays put. Feeding the winch line through the isolator was a breeze. Keeps me from having to attach the winch line to one of my recovery d-rings which was causing wear and rusting. This also helps hide the fact that the winch is there (once I get my fairlead license plate cover re-installed).

Quiet and locks the hook down

Secured the winch hook and it’s quiet now. Don’t have to worry about overloading the winch cable pulling the hook in too fast.

a good alternator to the donut shaped fairlead savers

While a little pricey, it is a good alternator to the donut shaped fairlead savers . The oem hook on my smittybilt xrc winch fit snugly into this item, and the isolator itself fit perfectly into my roller fairlead.
