CAST IRON BOOKENDS

Heavy Duty cast iron bookends. A little darker than the online image, but acceptable. However, tgecscrews at the base were loose and the flat surface at the bottom is a little uneven. It appears I received a returned product as the packaging was opened.

To put on the shelf with le Relais et Chateaux guides

I stayed Relais et Chateaux beautiful hotels in the past xx years. Taking chance that the Covid-19 forces us pause the regular trips to Europe I put up the shelf in the toilet and stack the past books. I have been looking for some nice things to decorate the books and this is almost perfect items to put up. The design is not 100% same to the fleur-de-lis of Relais et Chateaux, there are some burrs that do not look good and the angles are not straight up but I am generally satisfied with the product. ps to Amazon staff members: "Light weight" is not right feature for this product, don't you think?

A bit light weight

Nice bookends, but would've liked them to bit heavier! I wanted them to be able to hold in place my cookbooks and did not. They are fine to use in enclosed bookcase, nice finish and sturdy metal.

Beautiful Bookends!

These are good and heavy, with a rustic ( not smooth ) finish. I used a little bit of Testors gold paint to accent details, because I always add my own touches. They are gorgeous!
