Great Casual Dinner Plates!

I use these Corelle plates now and am purging out melamine plates in my cupboard since the finish started bubbling. I was looking for a replacement and remembered growing up with Corelle plates. I can use the Corelle plates in the microwave with no issues. They are inexpensive, durable and lightweight, and easy to clean, plus they take up less space in my cupboard. I like the classic shades of blue on the white background.

Nice pattern but slightly uneven

I just opened them. The dishes are a pleasant pattern, but very slightly uneven — I mostly noticed it because the color on the edge of the plate is uneven. That might or might not bother you. The bigger concern for me is that the pattern feels slightly rough to the touch, which makes me worry that they’re somehow improperly sealed. If so, the pattern could rub off over time, and a pretty pattern that rubs off is worse than no pattern at all, and some of the reviews mentioned that. However, there’s no way to tell for sure right away. Other concerns I saw mentioned in reviews (warping, for instance) weren’t a problem. Still, the worry that the pattern will wear off is making me strongly consider returning them. Fyi, they arrived in very solid exterior packaging and unbroken, but with a heavily stained box and missing paper between most of the plates; it seems very likely they’ve been purchased and returned. No big deal unless that bothers you.

Perfect

Absolutely in love with these plates. They are lightweight, seem durable so far, and take up so much less space in the cabinet! They are a very pretty white, and are perfect for mixing and matching.

Better than paper plates!!

Easy to clean, durable, light weight. Great for kitchens, buffets and outdoor picnics. They don't take up much room, very stackable. Love them.

I have a set of 20 I believe and LOVE them! They are great everyday plates. Super durable & clean and classic in style. I’ve bought our son a set of 20 as well for his place. His home is very modern and he loves the simplicity of these.

Corelle is best

Used Corelle plates now for 20 years. Excellent products that last a long time. Finally getting around to replacing some of our oldest plates that just have become worn around the edges. Hope these new ones last just as long!

Great Plates and design

I have had Corelle Country Cottage Dinner Plates for years and wanted more of just the dinner plates. I was so happy to find a set of 8 plates without all the other dinnerware. Well made plates, however they will shatter to tiny pieces if they hit the floor the right way -which is most plates and which is why I needed more plates. I love the design and the lightweight of the plates. The design and pattern on my old dishes have held up extremely well over the years without fading.
