Lovely

Love this set of dishes! Attractive. Light weight and easy to clean. With the exception on a couple of flowered small plates...even gentlemen and tough guys could use this set. And of course, I found those two small plates "special" Would be a lovely gift for a "new" house or apartment.

We needed to replace some ancient Corelle plates that apparently had lead in the paint that was on the eating surface. I read about these and they boasted lead-free, dishwasher safe, and several other perks that shocked me...like ok for the freezer and oven to a certain temp. I liked the design, so I bought them. The one thing I did not realize, which was a bummer, is that the small plates are teacup-size plates, not the 9-inch plates I was expecting. Since the ancient set had the 9-inch plates, I suddenly didn't have any and had to buy another set of plates to replace those. That was my own fault. I'd probably buy these again but I might look for a different set that has dinner plates and 9-inch plates, since I don't use the teacup-size ones hardly ever.

You can’t go wrong with Corelle

I have had Corelle for years, I even have some from my childhood home that has lasted decades. After I decided to get a different brand of more fancy dishes for a wedding gift, I regretted it because the other brand all broke. However the Corelle still held up. I decided to get this new set and I wanted plain white because 1. I get sick of designs quickly too. 2.It is easy to mix and match other white bowls and can match with any decor, 3. I find that the corral with design still holds up perfectly fine, but that it does show a few scratches Since they go with anything they can be “dressed up” for occasions and still look nice or just be daily use. Very versatile. I have dropped Corelle and it is truly break resistant. Trust me, don’t bother to go with the fancy dishes.

Durable dining set

Clean crisp look. Not elegant, but good basic dining set. Very durable. I've had expensive dining sets in the past, but they all chip eventually. This chip resistant material will probably last a lifetime!

Manufacture has excellent customer service!

Absolutely love this set of dishes! Easy to clean, great quality product. We did have a mishap, one of my little ones accidentally broke a plate. I contacted the company to inquire about the product warranty and they were fantastic! They responded quickly with some questions, requested photos, and sent a replacement plate faster than I expected.

Excellent Product

Purchased these to replace older "heavy" set of porcelain dishes. These are light weight, easy to clean, durable, good look. I am very happy with this purchase. I shopped around at many "brick & mortar" stores and Amazon had the best prices.

Corelle Dinnerware for lightness and durability.

I have wanted to replace my heavy ironstone dinnerware with something that was lighter weight, good for daily use, took up less space and was dishwasher safe. This set of Corelle Country Cottage fits my requirements perfectly. Also the set can be added to if you need more plates, bowls, etc. Most additions can be purchased separately.
