Just what I needed!!!

My governor had not been working quite right this mowing season. The mower didn't sound good and there was no difference between turtle or rabbit. I can't believe that this spring has made all the difference. The mower sounds so much better and going from turtle to rabbit makes a big difference. My mower is a craftsman 22" front wheel drive with a 6.75 briggs and stratton engine. Find your engine number stamped on a plate and do a simple cross reference at the briggs and stratton website, then see if amazon has the part number you need. It's annoying reading the Q&A with the question "will this work for my mower?" Less than 5 minutes of research and anyone with a computer should be able to figure it out on their own. This fix would be $50-$75 at a repair shop, very easy DIY.

Perfect replacement spring for the old one, stretched out after 13 years

I ordered the part number in my 2007 Husqvarna owner's manual and it arrived a few days later. It took about one minute to install and the lawn mower now runs like new. Pretty expensive for a little spring, but it did the job.

Works ok had to make adjustment,it was too long,but works ok.

Spring worked

Couldnt figure out what was wrong with mower idle. Replaced this spring and it runs like new. Easy fix!
