Dead simple lock. Not the most robust. But, a meaningful deterrent.

This lock fits great on our kingpin and allows me to use my own Abus Diskus lock...of which I have a few. The collar is aluminum with a steel pin. It won't stop a determined thief with time...but, it's a great deterrent for a thief of convenience. I also have the travel trailer/ball hitch equivalent...it's equally simple and great!

Good lock

This lock fits well around the king pin. Only negative is the locking bar is too long and can be cut with a saws-all if they wanted.

Ease of use

The hitch lock fit well on our fifth wheel. The only issue I have is that the slide in pin is too long. Looks like it would make it an easy striking point with a hammer. It is not snug like in the picture on the outer sides. Looks like the same pin I use on my gooseneck lock with a wider base. I still feel confident in the product for now.

Easy to install and lock with any appropriately sized padlock. Looks to be well made with an aluminum body and steel pin

Simplicity is good. I wanted to use my own padlock.

I like the simplicity. Some reviewers complained that it does not come with a padlock. Thanks for the info, but that is part of why I bought this one. I have padlocks I trust, and know I can get more if ever needed. The units with built-in locks do not have that advantage and cost more.
