Works great. Hey did you know that Atwood made a 1 3/4 post too. That’s right an 1.75 and an 1.77 post. My point is if you’re buying this for an older boat mount you may want to double check your mount size, with calipers. My boat was new to me and the previous owner said he thought the mount was 1.77 but it wasn’t. Finally the 1.77 will go into the 1.75 mount with some force but don’t do it. You’ll need a vice to get it out. If your post doesn’t go in real easy you got a he wrong base.

Wrong aize

Does not fit. Spent time modifying it for it to work. Once I got it in cannot remove it.
