Good, sold product

Have this mounted near the bow of my 20' Sea Fox,. I like how firmly it mounts to the deck and with a basic fold down seat attached, it is comfortable, adjustable and gives a secure, solid feeling. Thought about 5 stars.

you're are buying site unseen

This is not the base that is pictured. They are selling " two pictures " with the same description and exact same number. I ordered the one with the brushed aluminum base to match those in my boat but received one with a painted base with a different contour profile. Am looking to return it if the other pictured item is even in fact available but wanted to review this bate and switch before I look into it.

No surprises so far. It works well and was easy to install. So far, so good!

Broke first use

Spent hours installing these in my 1987 24' Grady White they looked good - but first time i sat in a seat the collar that holds the seat in place broke! faulty part is the cast aluminum bracket that the seat is bolted to cant believe it snapped! This is a garbage product in my opinion I now have to remove from the boat and buy something better. Waste of time and money, at least there is a good return policy with amazon.
