Best little rice cooker out there

It's not fancy, but it's a great value. It makes great rice consistently. This is my third Aroma rice cooker in probably 30 years. I only had to get a new one because we accidentally melted it by letting it touch a hot stove. It still cooked fine, even if it was uneven because two of the legs were melted shorter... Anyway, what makes this one great is the stainless steel bowl inside. You don't have the risk of aluminum or of teflon flaking off. Does rice stick? That's the nature of rice in any pot. Soak it overnight and wipe it out in the morning - easy peasy. I buy this as housewarming gifts for the young adults in our family. I bought the red one and the color is great.

Great improvement from my old Aroma Rice Cooker.

My old rice cooker lasted for 20 years, was still working but the black coating of the inside pan was deteriorating and popping off. The stainless steel pan is an improvement that I gladly pay the higher price for.

Great, but wish I’d gotten the one with a steamer basket too

I’ve sworn off “forever chemicals” like Teflon so wanted stainless steel. Some of the reviews claim rice sticks, but It makes a noise when it switches into warm mode so it doesn’t stick if I remove the rice immediately. I don’t eat that much rice. If I did, I’d have to get one of those expensive cookers that keep rice warm all day.

ESTOY MUY CONTENTA CON MI ARROCERA ELÉCTRICA. MI ARROZ QUEDA ESPONJADITO Y NO TIENES QUE USAR ACEITE! YA HABÍA TENIDO UNA ANTERIORMENTE PERO ÉSTA ES MUCHO MEJOR PORQUE ES DE ACERO INOXIDABLE (STAINLESS STEEL). LA RECOMIENDO ????!!

Overall ok

Very easy to use. Can't figure out the water to rice ratio very well. Followed their instructions and it comes out super mushy. Tried less water still came out super mushy. Tried less water again and it couldn't cook fully. Not sure what I'm doing wrong or if it's just the cooker. I'll report back once I future it out. Whatever you do don't follow their instructions.

but just so you know, it's not 6 cups

I ordered this cooker to make small quantities of rice/oatmeal without using the stove. When it came, I was impressed with its durable and compact construction. So far, I've only used it to cook rice, which comes out fluffy and perfect. I didn't experience any splattering/foaming. I've got no problems with it sticking to the pot. The surprise came when I read the user manual, which states: "The measuring cup included adheres to *rice industry standards* (180ml) and is not equal to one US cup... The provided rice cooker cup is the equivalent to a 3/4 US standard US cup." Come on, you guys. Assuming most people shopping for a mid-to-low-end rice cooker on Amazon are not rice industry insiders, it's a bit shady to market this as *6 cup* based on a cup that is not a cup--especially if you're not going to include this info anywhere in the description. Honestly, it just seems like bad marketing, because if I'd known this model was so very small, I might have splurged and bought the next size up. TLDR: this *6 cup* cooker makes a maximum of 2 1/4 cups uncooked or (4 1/2 cups of cooked) rice.

Finally a stainless steel inner pot

Finally found a good stainless steel inner pot rice cooker. Always been dubious about the coated inner pot for chemicals and how it doesn't last a long time due to scratches. The lid with the hole is not a complete seal so expect some splattering to occur especially when there is a larger amount of rice and water. No issues with brown and red rice, basmati or Thai hom mali rice. No problems with the bottom of pot burning or rice sticking. If sticking does occur, just soak the pot. Should also note that the "cup" that provided is not a real 1 cup measurement. Highly recommend this rice cooker!

Worth the price!

All I wanted in a rice cooker! I love the color as well! Silver lining is way better than those coated ones! Easy to clean, easy to use and boy it's flavour! I ordered it around 11pm at night and it arrived in the morning at 10:55 wow delivery is super fast. The advantages of being a prime member!
