It Really Works!

So I was watching videos on Japanese foods and got hungry. After hours of looking at food, I wanted the same fluffy rice. It took two days to ship. I had to test the cooker right after opening the box. Wow! The rice was fluffy and delicious. I suck at cooking fluffy rice. I never could figure it out. This rice cooker has changed my life! I can now have yummy fluffy rice whenever I want. Meals have been built around the rice that comes out of this cooker. I even use the steamer for vegetables. I can't express how grateful I am to Aroma. My diet and meals have been upgraded to healthy. Truly life changing.

smaller than I thought, but good for just me.

There are so many tiny rice cookers on amazon that they made this one look big by comparison. This is about as small as would still be useful. It cooks good, steams nicely, and is small but perfect sized for one or two people. Its coloring on the metal and feel of the metal is a bit weird but it doesn't put any metal flavor in the food so its fine.

I bought 3 of these; one for me and one for each vacation rental. It just seems like the perfect addition to the kitchen amenities I offer to provide a variety of cooking utensils and something that will make easy meals in one pot or economical. With the steamer basket you can add vegetables, fish and you got a whole meal. I had a rice maker a long time ago and I really miss what a no brainer it was to make rice. 1 cup dry rice, rinse the rice in strainer until water is clear will get rid of the sticky starch and then dump into the cooker, add 2 cups water as most instructions tell you but the rice cooker I had before said to add an additional 1/4 cup and it came out perfect. This brand seems to be one of "the brands" in rice cookers so we'll see if it lives up to its reputation. Certainly can't complain about the price, the size is perfect for a single or couple with one kid even and won't take up much cubboard space either, but it says it can make up to 6 cups cooked that's like to the very top and not sure if it will burn on the bottom by the time that all cooks, so I'd try it in stages to find the max sweet spot it can still produce good cooked rice. Brown rice would need par cooking or a lot more water not sure, I don't eat brown rice because of the toxins in it.

Rice cooked perfectly and fast - I threw away the instructions so I googled how much water per cup of rice and it was 1 1/2 water per cup go rice and it came out AMAZING!!!

So handy and easy.

We love rice and this is unbelievably easy to get brown rice in 35-40 minutes. We had a much larger cooker and the mimum you could make was 2 cups which was too much for 2 people. This will cooks 1 cup nicely and the small amount left over is just right for a serving for 1 the next morning to fry up with some eggs.

I literally just got it and when I opened it,it's so cute and tiny! It holds a total of three cups of rice. Comes with the steaming basket the spatula and a little cup to measure out your rice or whatever you're using. I will update how well it's working????

Long lasting!

I bought my Aroma rice cooker in January 2018 and I still use it almost everyday. My only issue is the non stick coating (check picture). I know it has been 5 years but I wish they also sell the replacement pot. The electric plate underneath still works very well. I just need to replace the pot because the non stick coating has already peeled off from wear. It would be such a waste if I buy another rice cooker.

I’ve had this for about a month now, works really well. Rice is always perfect, and I like the steaming basket feature. I’ve used it just to steam veggies or dumplings, works great. It’s a big help when preparing a meal. Would recommend

Need a better package

It’s all good in total. Just a bit damaged for the two inner parts. They are not perfectly round anymore. Should be from shipping since the whole package just the original tiny box with the cooker. Not gonna return it in this condition. Just a bit annoyed.

Works well

I make two measuring cups of rice to easily feed four. And steam veg at the same time. Compact. Great for dorms.
