Disappointing

I needed to replace my halogen torchiere lamps because they stopped working. I loved those lamps because they gave off 300 watts of bright white light and worked for a very long time. These lamps were the only ones that came close to giving off as much light so I was hopeful. The lamp shade on these is plastic & cheap. The bulbs seem to blow on them after a couple months of use. It is very disappointing. The description also said you can use a 3 way bulb. We tried that and there are only 2 levels of brightness and then off. Not sure why they have you rate a remote because there is no remote.

The shade is plastic and the switch was broken off.

Love the light that this lamp cast off. What I don’t like was the fact the shade is complete plastic. Doesn’t seem very safe since you’re using 300 W bulbs. The switch to turn the light on and off is also completely broken off and impossible to put back on. Just seems like the lamp is not the quality for the price.

Did not last a year.

ON/OFF switch did not work after almost a year and not possible to replace. Threw it away!
