good for a beginner tap

i bought these as a beginner in tap and I would say to just spend more money to get the sneaker looking ones because these are hard to do real tap tricks in

Size up for sure

Bought these for my 9 year old daughter (who is on the tall side, but not by a lot). She wears size 5 kids shoe. I started with a 6.5 in these, then got a 7.5, and ended up with an 8. If she had been patient enough to let me, I might have tried for the 8.5 to give her more room to grow. Size 5 big girls street shoe equals an 8 with a little space to grow into. Otherwise a great tap shoe - very good quality for this price.

Waaaaay to small!

My daughter wears a 4 in regular shoes and we ordered a 5.5 and it was still way to small. Have to return for a bigger size! Such a bummer..She was very excited to start tapping! But quality looks great!

Great Shoes

Bought these for my daughter as she outgrew her current shoes. They came in the time stated as they would. The quality is great as to be expected with any name brand dance shoe. We like the Bloch brand has been one of her favorite brands to wear for dance in Tap & Jazz shoes. The leather, snaps and taps are quality made. We also like the fact that you can either use the elastic snaps or the ties that come with the shoes.

Nice shoe

I ordered this shoe one size up and was still very tight. I used a shoe stretcher and helped. If this comes in wide that would be my recommendation. Love the shoes after wearing them a few times. The snap instead of a buckle is a plus.

Great shoe but order Bloch size

My daughter has wide feet so we had some trouble finding shoes that were comfortable for her. These are great, although I wish I could have gotten them in a matte black vs patten leather. If you order, be aware you are ordering “Bloch” sizes NOT street size. Find your street size in the table and order the corresponding Bloch size which is about 2 sizes up. Or measure the foot in centimeters and order that way. I wasn’t sure at first so I ordered her street size and Bloch size. Need to return the street size which was tiny.

The shoes are beautiful but had to return the first pair because the fit was way too small.
