Good shoe but not for me.

Sadly I had to return these shoes. I have edema in my feet and ankles. When I saw they had mesh on top I thought they would be okay. The mesh does not stretch, it is more decorative. Looks like a great shoe for someone that doesn’t have foot problems.

the xx-wide for this style is more narrow than to other propet styles

i love other propet xx-wide styles but these are just too narrow in the toe area. And because the rubber-like band that goes around the base of the shoe feels as rigid as car tire rubber, there is absolutely no 'give' or stretching for the toes. Got blisters after wearing these around the house for just a short while... even with the inserts removed!

I have a $20 pair of shoes from blue that is 4e and it's a half inch wider than these $80 ones that claim 5e. The cheap ones are walking, I wanted trail ready. Sadly these are pathetic and returned instantly. Couldn't get the left one past my arch.

First Propet I've ever returned

Worn Propet exclusively for years and this is the first pair (bought 24 on Amazon) I've ever sent back. I walk at least 5 miles daily and have used Propet Ridge Walkers when the weather gets cold. Tried these and it was a mistake. Shoes bent at the toe line, pinching and bruising my little toe. Tried four walks thinking they would break-in and it just got worse. They just didn't work for me.
