Solved one problem, created another

While these are weedless, it turns out they are also fishless. In order to consistently hook up on fish with these I have to go to a heavier line and ideally a heavier rod which defeats my purpose in fishing a Ned rig. Easy fix. I pulled the weed guards off and I'll just deal with the snags.

Good idea, great quality, but poor execution.

It's a Zman Finesse Ned Rig hook, which I love and adore, but it's definitely NOT weedless. I love these hooks, they work great and are perfect for rigging up a dinger for that sure fire catch. But the addition of the strands of wire definitely do nothing to make it weedless. They tried, but those two strands do nothing to prevent snaging every lily and weed when working deep cover. Save yourself the trouble, and get the regular Zman Ned hooks!

ZMan weedless Ned

Very good head as usual for ZMan. The wires do get twisted after beating them through rocks and trees but bend them back and keep fishing. Not sure why people are having them break off.

Good when they don't break

They're pretty weedless, especially if you separate the weed guard. But one broke off at the shank, costing me a fish. Since my soft plastic was superglued on, I didn't even notice, and wondered why my hookup ratio was so bad... This may have been a fluke, but others seem to have noted durability issues as well.
