A little difficult to use with a lid & utensils at the same time

It probably goes without saying but if there’s a lid (beautifully) resting in it, it’s a little weird to put a spatula or spoon in it as well. Impossible if you’re using a ladle. I feel like that could easily be alleviated if the wooden handle was further back. I know there’s another less cute version Yamazaki makes but obviously I went with the cute choice. Well made of steel, the bottom is plastic and removes easily to clean. I could see the wood handle become lost or unattached bc it uses 2 small clear bands to keep it in place, but I have a similar glass holder from the same line and haven’t lost its wood handle or small bands yet.

love the simple design

Always love the products from yamazaki home coz they all have that minimal look which i adore. This one looks great on the countertop and it's made of good quality. The only problem that I'm having is - when you place the lid on it, there's no other space to put the cooking utensil lol. But overall I still like it coz it looks nice :)

Should’ve gotten it long time ago

I needed this so badly and I wish I had gotten it years ago. Now I want a second one to put my ladles.. the only thing I worry now is if the plastic tray will melt if I put my cast iron pot cover on it... guess we’ll see...

One of the best kitchen gadgets!

I like this so much!!!! It’s very sturdy, thick and strong enough to hold a heavy lid with my cooking utensils with ease. This is one of the best kitchen gadget inventions. I love the true white color too. It matches with my kitchen theme. I’m getting another one before they run out.

Cute but can be improved

Super cute. However the drip tray that you can remove to clean is not the same steel material but feels kind of cheap like plastic. It’s easy to clean if you remove that part but when it’s not in use, it collects dust and other dirt in the crevice, which means I need to clean it or at least give it a wipe before actually using. Not sure if the middle part is dishwasher safe

Love this little gadget!

Love this! So glad I ordered it. I have limited counter space and this is a real multi tasker! It can hold small or quite large lids, spoons, tongs and it will support a cookbook that is not too thick. (Joy of Cooking too thick) Easy to remove the bottom drip plate for washing and the entire unit washes up nicely. The wood bar on the top is attractive, not cheap. Great addition to my kitchen tools.

Purchase this brand's other model of the ladle and lid holder instead of this one.

The finish on the metal is like a bumpy white paint. It's very cute but does not seem like a durable coating. Also, a ladle or large spoon don't stay upright on this holder. It works well for a large or medium lid. I am returning it because I bought this brand's other version that has a durable smooth white metal coating and holds the ladle upright. I recommend buying this brand's other ladle and lid holder instead of this Tosca model. The better model to purchase is the Yamazaki Home 2248 Tower Ladle & Lid holder.

A Well Designed Bit of Kitchen Kit

Somethings are so well designed that from the moment you use the item it's like it's always been a part of your life. This is one of those things. It's so handy to have somewhere to put a pot lid so that it doesn't take up much space and doesn't drip all over the counter top. It's much sturdier than I thought it would be and holds my 24cm cast iron cocotte lid without a hint of a wobble. It doesn't look bad either. I regret not buying one sooner.

extremely helpful space-saver

I have an extremely small kitchen, so most of the time, a pot lid would end up on a spare element if i were lucky. This not only minimized clutter on the stove as I work, but also minimizes mess. Turns out the tray at the bottom is also removable to make cleaning easier, which was an extra bonus.
