Needed Smaller Gauge For Lamp Wire Connectors

I needed to replace some very old landscape lighting around my pool and of course, I used the larger 12 gauge for the "main" wire that encircles the pool. I used this smaller 14 gauge to connect from the main wire to the lights pigtail. Also used these new-to-me connectors which I think are totally great: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08BNQY2NM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I soldered and shrink-wrapped most of the "jumpers" to the lights as seen in photos. The new wire was nice and clean copper, and took the solder easily.

Works well for my landscape lights

I had poor results using a copper - aluminum core wire for some of my LED landscape lights where the lights would flicker. I replaced that wire with this solid copper wire and now the lights shine bright. Problem solved!

The wire is completely adequate for the job. The 14/2 stranded wire is well made and meets expectations.

Great wire

This is hard to find locally . Heavy 12 gauge wire and made in USA . Short footage needed to extend my lighting down driveway .

This is the size you want for long runs. I have runs of about 100' and the lights all look equal in brightness
