Simple costume

Simple costume, which suited my needs for a school play. On time delivery. The fur on the headpiece sheds quite a bit and a little itchy. My 9 year old is slim and the medium (size 8-10) jumpsuit and headpiece fit perfectly. Light fabric. The back of my costume did not have a zippered closure. A slit where the zip would have been with only a velcro closure to the back of the neck. Overall not the "cheap, use and throw away" kind that I was expecting based on other reviews. Satisfied!

We tweaked it

My 6.5 year old son is obsessed with lions and this is one of the only lion costumes we could find in his size. The body suit is thinner, but it worked out well for a hot halloween in the south. The tail is really long, but he never tripped over it and it didnt seem to bother him. The downfall of this costume is the head piece. It is awful! Very itchy, uncomfortable, and you get fur in your mouth. We ended up cutting the head piece and pinning part of it on the chest and shoulders and it looked and felt way better!

Shoddy workmanship

Ordered for my 5 year old to wear in a parade. I ordered it big to ensure it would fit (wears a 6 but ordered an 8-10). The body fit big, as I expected. The problem is the headpiece... it wouldn't even fit over my child's head. So, Amazon was great about sending me a replacement BUT while the replacement fit, it didn't not cover my child's neck! It was completely missing the jagged pieces shown in the pic that were supposed to come down... frustrating!

Head and Body not the same size

The part of the costume that covers the head (the hood of mane and ears) is very small compared to the rest of the costume which is appropriately sized for the medium that I ordered.

Tiny head

This worked great for my sons school play. The head was two sizes too small. But we were able to cut it up the back to work. Not sure why the head was made so small.

Lion very rashy

It came on time for my son's play, it's what I expected for the price, the only reason why i gave 4 stars, the furry mask gave him a rash and that wasn't cool.

Poor

Sorry, apart from being very poor quality, my poor grandaughter could not wear the headpiece because it was so irratating and it was for her Fairy Tale Character venture in school. I have bought many things from Amazon but this item was of the poorest quality.
