this is awesome and if you build a desk or modify one I would recommend. that being said the mounting threads where barely long enough to catch on a 1 1/2 in desk.

False advertising - No Outlet Passthrough

These are advertised as having outlet pass through, but the unit shipped to me has no pass through outlet. Build quality seems fair, but I was counting on that feature and now have to spend additional money to finish this project.

Loved this

Would liked it if there was a template to know how big to cut the whole. I thought I measured well but was slightly off and had to sand to get it to fit. That said it looks fine and is fairly scratch resistant for plastic. The color goes great with brushed stainless, but also goes well with bronze. I wish they had built in USB ports but it is a great item, sturdier then I hopped and long and thick power cord.

Great outlet

The outlet got covered when I put in more cabinets. This was a simple way to bring that outlet to a place we could use it. Without trying to rewire the wall. Simple to install, had a great pattern so you cut the right size hole. And easy directions. Going to buy two more.

Does not have a pass through connector

I ordered two of these based on the description and advertisement of the the pass through connection on the plug. Neither one of the orders had it.
