16" Is what you want for a 10qt stock pot.

It's just that simple. If you get a 14" you leave yourself very little room to the metal's edge. Get 16" Otherwise get 14". If cooking at a diagonal angle of 6" get the 10" one. The white part is 4" long with a 6" red handle extension. Always irks me when people never mention this! 10" is what you want for most stovetop functions. 14" I really don't get who's using 14? lol. 16" also works great for reaching into the oven and doing a stir without removing any pans. 10/16 is all you need!

Not Nearly Flexible Enough

I needed a longer scraper/spatula for my larger cooking/recipe endeavors, and this had, on "paper," all the requisite characteristics. A good brand name, a good size, looked sturdy, and all that. So, I got it. First time I went to use it, I found that the flexibility of the scraper head is not nearly that of my other spatulas, or of what I expect a typical spatula to have. In other words, it's too stiff. It doesn't have the 'give' I want/need to easily scrape down large mixing bowls and the like, and that's a problem. So, it's going to sit in a drawer a lot more than I had figured.

If you're looking for a long handled spatula - This is the the one

The long handle allows you greater reach, excellent control, while keeping your hands away from heat etc. I use it daily and it still appears brand new.
