Expensive, but could not find any alternative locally.

Attempting to remove mower blades bolts and one would not come off. Needed this and an impact to get it off. Worked fine for its purpose. May not ever use it again but I have it if I do.

Perfect!

I tried everything to get 3 seized bolts off my rear brake caliper mounting bracket. This had it off in minutes, it worked perfectly for what I needed.

Worked flawlessly

Had a rounded off 18mm hub bolt on a 3/4ton pickup. Hard to access. Carefully put the socket on and had to tap it till it seated. First applied a lot of heat, Put ratchet and breaker bar on and it came right out. The photo demonstrates how it works.

Odd size, exactly what was needed

18mm is never included in any of the kits and as it turns out it’s exactly what I needed to remove a broken wheel lock. This has thinner walls than most other brands but plenty strong. This perfect for wheels with small openings for lug nuts.

Slipped on Lower Control Arm nuts.

Fitted it tightly but it still slipped and destroyed the nut. This is a Southern Car without rust. The torque is very high on the these control arms bolts, and using a 25" breaker, it just slipped. Not a runout, stripped the nut (19mm) w/o loosening it. Japanese made nut and bolt. Not worth it.

This one socket got the job done

Loved it! We worked on an engine mount replacement and it just zipped the bolt right out. 18MM is a very rare socket in my area. Very happy I found this! Worth the money, durability and sturdiness

A lot of money for just one socket but totally worth it.

I had an 18mm bolt rounded-off on a brake caliper bracket. No room to work with, this was the only way other than to borrow a mig-welder. Most manufacturers don't include an 18mm socket in sets for these tools, so you're stuck buying it separately. Use is simple: Line up socket onto bolt and slowly tap with a hammer until it is on as much as possible. I ended up hitting pretty hard to fully seat this socket. You cannot presume this tool will work if you do not seat it upon the bolt properly. I then placed the breaker bar on the socket and it broke the bolt free on the first with zero slippage. Excellent quality. If you need to remove a rounded-off 18mm bolt, you can reply on this tool.

Great socket great quality

The socket itself is AMAZING . I had rounded off caliper bolts and wheel bearing bolts . This socket took them out like “ bitch please” great tool awesome quality no complaints. Shipping however was fumbled an slow . Confusion on quantity available on Amazon’s side . That’s why it got 4 stars .
