Quality Screwdrivers

Williams screwdrivers seem very well made. Comfortable in my hand and engage as well, or better than any other drivers. Although I haven’t lost any, a close friend who has a very successful auto repair shop always wants brightly colored tools to lessen the chance of leaving a tool in a vehicle.

Great Replacement

This Williams SDE-8 screwdriver is the perfect replacement for the lone screwdriver missing from my Snap-on cabinet screwdriver set. Snap-on no longer manufactures the screwdriver I needed to complete the set, the handle design itself is no longer offered. As Williams is a Snap-on Industrial brand, made in the United States, their screwdriver handles are actually the now discontinued Snap-on design. Other than the "Williams" script on the handle and a brighter chrome finish on the shank, the screwdriver is identical to the others in my set. I recommend this to anyone looking for a screwdriver that's as close to Snap-on quality and appearance as possible.

Fair addition to the 8 piece set

Not much to say. Bought it to add to my bigger premium 8 piece set. I am very impressed w the quality feel. However, given its length for deep, hard to reach recesses, I am slightly disappointed in the setting of the shank. Only concern is the slot on the head of the shank does not line up with the squared part of the handle -- it may not serve much purpose on shorter shanks but this is an 8". It would be helpful for longer, hard to reach areas that this driver would address. Since the angle of the blade to the screw head can be calibrated/measured by the rotation of your thumb on the handle.

Bargain Looks great.

Williams is a Snap On owned brand. I bought this screwdriver just to see if it is as good as they look and I am not disappointed. A fraction of the price and the same as Snap On. The only draw back will be the warranty but if you have a good Snap On dealer I cannot see why they would not change the blades seeing they are the same. I will b e getting more of these.
