I give 4 stars because I bought two of these. One I bought for my horse a 4 year old Thoroughbred and it fits him with a D ring just fine. I bought one for my friend as well who has an 8 year old Thoroughbred. It is too tight for him with the D ring. I fear by the time my horse matures fully he will grow out of it. It is of good quality though.
