Not the same as the wahl premium gaurds

I have been using the wahl premium guards with the metal clip for years and swear by them. I have been using the organizer you get when you by the set which gives you slot for 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and 8 which leaves the 1/2 and 1 1/2 floating around with no home so when I saw this set I thought I was getting the premiums with a color badge and a storage case that will now hold the 1/2 and 1 1/2. The case does hold the 1/2 and 1 1/2 so awesome. Problem is these guards are not made of the same material as the premium, have less teeth and are not the same shape either if you are used to the premium. They are a shiny hard plastic that seem like if you drop them they could break easily break. Literally no give to these. I see there is a premium version also with this case so I would recommend that over this. I have took the color guards out and put my premiums in as I still think the case is awesome.

Sturdy and nice

Strong clip I notice they are shorter than the babyliss guards but still good they fit the babyliss pro clippers that’s what I’m using them on.

I love these guards as I wanted a better more premium feel compared to the standard plastic ones. so far cuts have been great only a bit sad my 1/2 guard came broken at the teeth area and don’t know how to replace them but overall love them !

Cool design, cheap quality guards.

The .5 guard broke the second day. The 1.5 & 2 guard are cool. They’re slimmer then the originals. But overall the guards are cheap quality, the organizer is great though. PREMIUM GUARDS > ELITE GUARDS. 2/5 guards 4/5 organizer

Not what I expected

Thought these guards would be as sturdy as the Wahl premium guards but they are made from a much weaker material. Different 0.5 guard than standard Wahl 0.5 that I wouldn’t dare to use. I actually like the round taper shape of the 1 and 1.5 guards. Think this purchase could be a hit or miss depending on what you are looking for but all in all I would say the value falls way short of the price.
