Wow! This is what a comb is supposed to be!!!!

Updated review1/10/23: While this is still the best comb I have bought it happens to be the hardest to clean. I tried my normal method of soaking in isopropyl alcohol and the comb started to dissolve! Which ruined the comb so I had to buy another. I have no idea how to safely clean the comb. I was replacing a lost standard black plastic comb. I had not idea what I was missing out on until I got this thing. Wow! I mean I had always thought they should make a comb like this and when shopping around I figured all plastic ones were the same so what does it matter. I had no interest in a bone, wood, stone, unicorn horn comb. I just wanted a durable, well made comb. This is perfect! No sharp edges anywhere, combs smoothly, doesnt hurt, easy to clean. Perfect.

Way better than local store combs

For years I had bought combs at the local drug store. Those seemed to be the only thing available locally. I was always disappointed with them - the teeth soon broke or bent, and the points of the teeth scratched my scalp. I tried this comb, and it is a world of difference! The teeth are sturdy, never bending or breaking. The points are comfortable. And the price for this comb is only the equivalent of two or three of the cheap combs. I am very happy with this purchase!

Best Comb Ever - Who Knew?

Normally, I buy whatever basic black men's comb is sold at the chain store drug store. Over the years. they have become harsher, but so be it. This time, when the comb broke (they all do sooner or later), given Covid (mostly) self-imposed restrictions, I went to Amazon in search of a comb. I decided to take a chance and splurge on this uber-expensive (~$8?)comb in lieu of my usual (~$2?) purchase. What a difference? It's bristles are soft not scratchy, yet firm enough to do the job. Nicely done! Since combs normally last for several years, I find this comb to be well worth the extra cost.

Wahl pocket combs and Kent pocket combs are the way to go

I have thinning care. Store-bought combs sctratch my scalp. Wahl pocket combs and Kent pocket combs (Separate companies) are handcrafted and don't prick my scalp. LOVE 'EM
