So...I ordered another Wacoal bra in the same month. I love the brand, what can I say? And the price on amazon.com, so fantastic. But this time the bra I ordered didn't fit me true-to-size. In fact, I was appalled that the reviewers who stated it was rather small were correct and that I should have indeed ordered a BAND (not cup) size up. I wish I had done so but being slightly between sizes in band with meaning i am kind of in-between a 34 or 36 depending on the brand I purchase, I was not even thinking that a 38 would be the way to go for Wacoal, since I already am a satisfied customer. WRONG! I tried it on and the sizes brought out underarm and back skin that looked suspiciously like I didn't spend time exercising at all, ever (ha!, as if). It was not uncomfortable, but one can never tell without some time wearing it for at least more than a moment. Yet, I already had a feeling it was an improper fit by band due to the squishing of and the unnatural way it sat on my body...looking unflattering in the back and sides, instead of cute and sexy, which is the Wacoal trademark. So, I hand washed it and decided I would keep it and see what happened. Well, I finally wore it today for the first time and could not believe that I had to put a new bra on the last hook!!! That is not supposed to EVER happen. I contacted amazon.com via chat to express my displeasure and to request they inform consumers that it actually does run more towards small than true-to-size. Well, they graciously offered to return for exchange or refund. I instead, I requested bra extenders. I know, I know, I should have just went up to a 38DDD for this bra...because what I told amazon and this is true: putting my two newest Wacoal bra's lengthwise side-by-side this bra is nearly 3 inches shorter in length. VERY TELLING, WHEN THEY ARE BOTH labeled by Wacoal as 36DDD. So, Amazon was kind of enough to send me a 3-hook bra extender, that I found on their site, at no charge but if this were not a backup bra in my wardrobe I would have just exchanged it (they did offer, even after I told them I had hand washed it and tried it on). I really am not sure why I didn't, but it was more the principle of the matter, because I read the reviews and knew there was a small chance that it could run small but most said it ran true-to-size...well, I think bras fit depending on many factors and bone structure and frame are one of them (i.e. smaller-frame, vs. medium or large with same bra size does not mean the bra will look or sit the same on each person's body)...if you are athletic built like me, and all, it might be this review could make a difference, so buyer beware. This bra is a very pretty gray-colored bra. It appears similar to as pictured for the Platinum Combo color and seems, as far as it goes, a pretty good bra, but be gentle with it, it came to me looking like the lace is very fine (kind of similar to those old nylon bras Victoria Secret's used to sell a decade or more ago as "English Lace", lol). I did not buy this particular Wacoal bra for anything other than a backup bra, so take that for what it means. It is very pleasing to the eye but the color combination for me just is not a preference for sexiness.
