Stellar beat machine, Needs Rechargeable Battery Upgrade!

My 7 and 9 year olds love this beat machine - although it's a 'kids toy', it's a great representation of 'real' instruments / tools. The housing, buttons and switches are sturdy, the turntable is very smooth, and the sounds are responsive and clear. I recommend investing in a rechargeable battery kit - because kids WILL play with this DJ mixer, and it WILL suck the life out of batteries (Note to manufacturer: A built-in rechargeable battery would be a stellar upgrade).

Ive purchased 3 of these

Anyone you know will love this. The first one purchased was for my 7 yo son. But everyone has played with from 1 year olds to 60 year olds. I have gifted 2 other ones bc its the most popular toy at house & its well designed. Its also volume controlled. As a mom i like if you dont touch it for 30 seconds (thats a guess) it turns off. Its not a toy that just keeps going. 10/10 would recommend

Lots of fun for a wide range of ages

This was a gift for my son during Christmas but was enjoyed by many over the break. What makes it more fun is the customizable sound clips. It's not super easy to connect the Bluetooth feature or perfectly record the audio clip, but for a kid's introduction to music, this thing is great! The 'Simon' says style mode starts simple and increases in difficulty, allowing you to progress in the complexity of pattern recognition. The biggest cons for this thing are the lack of really clear instructions on how to use some of those advanced features that really help it shine. Someone made a very helpful video on youtube, but that was the extent of it and I hope they never take said video down. I'm hoping someday they have slightly more advanced mixers for older kids to bridge the gap between expensive professional ones and this one.

Great gift or something to play with as a family!

Bought for my 8yr old for Christmas. Granted it’s March he hasn’t played with it much, he’ll still pull it out and play some with it which is more than I can say for any other toy.. oh and hubby likes it too

Great dj set

Our kids love this set! It works with Bluetooth, lights up, and has many many different sounds for them to use. We love the teaching mode it has, as it allows for kids to easily follow along to make beats. Lightweight. Only thing is I wish it was a bit louder, but I think most parents would appreciate it not being loud. Would recommend.

Awesome gift for kids who are interested in DJ-ing

I purchased this for my almost 10 year old son for christmas. When he first saw it and asked for it, I was on the fence about getting it as it kind of looked like a little kids toy, and seemed pricey for something of the sorts, but after reading some reviews I decided to get it for him. I am very glad that I did! He absolutely loves it! It is definitely an attention catching toy and has plenty of functions to keep him busy for at least a little while at a time. I will say the volume isnt super loud, but not a horrible thing, especially since he can also use headphones with it so it will be plenty loud enough for him. It's easy enough to use where a toddler or young kid could use it, but they probably wouldn't be able to use it to it's full potential. Havent come across anything undesirable about it yet... other then I wish it was a bit cheaper, but all in all worth the smile on my sons face and the hours of time I'm sure he will spend playing with it.

Good for a variety of ages

I picked this up for my 8 year old because she’s obsessed with beatboxing and making beats (a proud drummer dad). I thought it might be for slightly younger kids but the recording and building beats option keeps her very entertained. My 5 year old liked the other options so much that she’s getting her very own for her birthday coming up!

Excellent produit

Mon fils de 5 ans adore faire le DJ avec ce jouet. Plusieurs sons sont disponibles. Il est même possible d'enregistrer des sons courts et de faire jouer d'autres chansons en utilisant le Blueetooth. La boule disco ajoute encore plus d'ambiance. Je le recommande fortement.
