A great selection of classic monsters from Dungeons and Dragons

In an 8-count booster brick, you can expect 4 miniatures per booster (1 large or huge figure, and 3 medium or small), which comes to 32 prepainted miniatures. The figures in this set are 44 (45 if you count the case incentive) representative monsters from the Hardcover books Volo's Guide to Monsters and Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. As with every set, there were some figures that are great and some that you wish they'd forgotten. In some of the pictures above, someone shows a Froghemoth miniature without it's tongue. You will not find that in this set, as the only figure on a 3X3 base in this set is the Elder Brain case incentive. In my experience there is ALWAYS at least one broken or heat-warped figure in a booster brick. I usually fix them with super-glue, if the broken piece is big enough to hold in place or with hot water to bend the heat-warped figures back into proper stance. As with other reviews figures have a wide range of paint and sculpt quality. I was lucky this time and opened a brick with 29 out of 44 figures in the main set. I ordered a Case incentive previous to the brick, and was not disappointed. I've been waiting for an Elder Brain miniature since 3rd edition, so it was nice to finally get one. This set is dominantly a monster set, which means that most of the figures are not for Player Character use, however some could be used as allies, minions, or familiars. I will be grabbing another brick to get maybe get the other 16 figures and complete the set.

Very mediocre to bad.

I've been playing D&D for decades and got these as a gift for myself to update some very old models and figures. Disappointed to say the least. First, no real "heroes" in the group. There are two models that could be used as a hero if you really squinted your eyes. I could look past this if... Many models are tiny or junk. When 6 of 32 models are smaller then your fingernail it definitely does not give a good value for cost, especially at around $100+ for the 8-pack of boxes. Paint was slop and go tones. The models themselves were small, no real weight to them. Compared to the very old runs of models I am used to playing with i would rate the newer models as poor. A few sculpts and paint were nice, the gnolls and banderhorb being the real standouts. Probably would recommend buying unpainted minis and just doing a few hours of painting. Nothing in these sets is unreproducable with paint quality and you can get what you will need.

Cool looking collectable figures for any DnD fan.

These would make a great gift for any DnD fan. I have gotten these several times and the details on the figures are so cool. They usually come in good condition although occasionally one will be a little bent, usually I just bend it back carefully, and one time I had one that was missing an arm. It honestly looked like a war wound so I kept it lol. All in all I have been pleased with my purchases.

2 items were broken

I've ordered bricks or D&D miniatures before. Never had an issue. This time 1 large figure and a medium figure came broken. They both had broken arms. On the large figure the broken piece was in the package. On the medium figure there was no trace of the arm. You could see the hole on the Autumn Eladrins arm but the arm was totally missing. I started a return but they're asking for the whole shipment to be sent back. I'd rather not do that, I would just want the 2 mini's replace, 1 Venom Troll and the Eladrin. The paint jobs on all the mini's I have mixed feelings on. Some are better than others which is fine. I can always repaint one if I really don't like it. I received 3 Meazles and 2 were actually in the same package. I also got 2 Trolls which is OK. My ratings may have been higher if their quality control was better and the items weren't broken. I never had an issue before so this was disappointing. I hope someone responds back about replacing the 2 damaged items and not have me send back everything only to send me another brick whereby I may end up with different pieces.

Great addition

Overall and probably not the fault of the supplier but had one figure come in with a broken arm... it has happened before on weak or low plastic areas. Super glue Fixed, and had only 2 repeated figures and they were cool ones. But wanted to say thank you for the great additions to my Mini collection players will be thrilled got pieces that fit their characters more than what i already had.

Honestly, I miss the older D&D miniature packs when it was a separate game that also had a function in your table top game... for the price getting four random figures Per box is ridiculous...
