Works like a charm!

I put this on an old well that we have in our "well room" (the house has been on city water for the last 40+ years). The water depth was about 20 feet deep and I made my suction pipe about 38ft long. I used a foot valve on the end of the pipe and removed the check valve and weight in the pump. It keeps it's prime and works great! I get about 12-16oz per pump. It pumps a little hard but I would say most of that is attributed to my water depth. The internal check valve took a good bit of suction to overcome. I'm not sure I would be able to overcome it and reach my depth. I was nervous because at a 20ft depth, and the nozzle about 3ft above the ground, it has to lift 23ft. The pump did it well though! As expected there is a little rust in the first couple pumps.

Good pump installed it on an old hand dug well thats 23 feet deep draws water fast and holds its prime good

Deep well usage

Works good enough on a well depth 60 ft. We had to run a new line down to the well since it had not been used in over 20 years. It takes 3 pumps then the water runs crystal clear. While it does take some effort to pump it will draw plenty of water to maintain our needs. Yet, still easy enough for a child to pump age 6 years or older. Example, an average fill time we used a TIDY cat litter bucket at 35 lbs takes 32 hand pumps off our well to get 4.0 gallons of water. The pump itself was an easy install, but running the new line was a bit more involved. We would recommend this purchase to our friends. Hopes this helps, J & S

Outstanding customer service

Order pump for 2” punch well about 50’ deep. Water level around 25’. Installed pump and works as described. After several uses top hat broke. I contacted seller and sent pictures. They immediately responded and replace pump. Very satisfied with pump and customer services. Highly recommend!

Hand pump for spring.

The media could not be loaded. We are very happy with our purchase. We did have to buy a different set of hardware. Only because we felt we needed metal wings and not plastic. We did not use bottom half since we had the height already but if we move it to our well I would. All in all nice sturdy product.
