Probably saved my life--and someone else's too

I keep one of these in both vehicles. One day my daughter-in-law was in a bad accident. I got involved in the traffic jam it was causing trying to reach the scene. I parked my car, put on the vest, and then had to cross the one lane of traffic that was still moving. The traffic immediately stopped as I arrived at the curb. That does NOT happen around here. The only reason they stopped was seeing the vest. Another time, I saw a vehicle stopped only partially on the side of the road with no flashers, taillights, and only the driver waiving traffic around. I stopped in front of the car and told the driver to turn on his flashers...the car's electrical system was completely dead. So I got the vest and a flashlight out of my car and gave them to him so he could be seen until the police got there. He said, how can I get it back to you...I said, "Keep it, and buy your family more on Amazon!"

Nice

I bought this for my husband for work. It works great but it doesn't have pockets. I didn't catch that before purchasing. That was his only complaint.

Not Worth the Money

The vest said XXL, which is what I ordered, but the size was smaller than my XL vest of the same style. I get the feeling all the vests are the same size and the factory just applies different size labels regardless. It was poorly manufactured with multiple loose threads and lacked the required washing instructions. In short, this vest is not worth buying, regardless of the low price. Amazon has multiple better options.

Life Saver, I am very visible in the dark

I work in healthcare as a delivery driver, and work early mornings. I work in dimly lit parking garages, and walk on crosswalks. One day I had very close call on a crosswalk with a shuttle bus. I waved my hands, and the bus driver did not see me. I finally realized that I’m wearing dark pants, dark shoes, and a dark blue lab coat. It’s no wonder people in their vehicles can not see me. So I looked on Amazon for an inexpensive but well made reflective vest, and found this one. With my winter vest on, and lab coat, this vest still fits on top. The good thing is now..when I go across the crosswalk, the cars headlights light up the reflective vest, and THEY STOP. They see me 100’ back. It also helps in the parking garage. There are many coming to work who are half awake. Now..they see me. This reflective vest is a LIFE SAVER. It is a little hot, but I only wear it for an hour in the morning. My only beef is that I probably should have got the 3XL

Time Has Come to Reflect On the Experience

I have to wear an ANSI 107 standard high visibility vest when I'm out in the field in my line of work. Considering this is frequently more than 3 hours a day the vest needs to be light and durable. My company did provide a similar vest(I inherited it), but it was used and dirty. That vest does not actually "belong" to me so I can't take it home with me to clean it up. So instead of walking around in a soiled and smelly vest, I decided to show some initiative and buy my own - this Neiko High Visibility Neon Yellow Zipper Front Safety Vest. I originally purchased an XL(Extra-Large) vest, as I normally wear Large or Extra-Large coats and jackets. Upon arrival it became obvious that the vest would be too small to fit over my Winter coats and jackets. I quickly ordered an XXL size vest, and re-designated the XL vest for Summer use. The XL vest is now waiting for its time to shine, while the XXL is used daily. Like with any similar vest putting them on in Winter time can be a clumsy experience, especially while standing outside a vehicle with the wind blowing around you. I like the zipper closure more than the velcro strips of the inherited vest. There are also more reflective strips on this vest which increases my visibility. I can walk and drive around for hours while wearing this vest, it does not affect my mobility or comfort. I haven't washed it yet as the mesh construction seems to be more resistant to dirt and stains than the fabric construction of the inherited vest. I have only been wearing it for slightly more than a month so I can't comment on the durability/quality of the vest(so far it seems durable). I am mostly satisfied with my purchase(s).
