Develop a way to dry or keep bags dry when filling, especially soups.

Heavy. Hard to lift because handles are awkward for senior citizen to manage. Probably not difficult for a younger person.

A little small

10x13's seemed awful big so I oredered these 8X10 thinking I would not be wasting so much. These seem really small and hard to fit a pound and a half of hamburger in but do seal nice with not much left over. I will stick with the 10x13 as they are much easier.

Versatile

I always keep a couple hundred of these on hand, we are a hunting and fishing house hold so it's not uncommon to package 100 pounds of meat in a day. These have worked very well for us and with probably close to 1,000 that I've used I would guess around 15 of them have leaked after sealing. I save soup and broth leftovers for the freezer as well, you really can seal anything that fits in the bag.

Good, not great. Not 3 mil, only 2.5mil

These bags measure with a dial caliper 2.5mil (2.5 thousandth). They sell them as 3 mil. They close. But i compare to avid armor bags, and those "feel" heavier duty, and they measured over .003, 3mil. If i fold these bags and measure, i get 10mil. Measuring 4 sides of the bag. Avid armor, i get almost 13mil. Is this a problem? Probably not. But send what you advertise. 3mil means 3mil. Are these way way cheaper than the others? YEP!!! 4 cents a bag is dirt cheap. So im happy with product, just not quite as thick as they say. I will update when i have used them more.

Experimented with these bags and they'll hold alot of things you think wouldn't fit

Works well for sous vide

They are not as thick s the bags I usually use. I use thicker bags for freezing things. These work very well for sous vide. And vacuum sealing anything that's not going to be long term.
