ok
The mask applicator uses regular batteries to run. It vibrates and kind of helps cleaning the skin and to apply masks. it is soft and doesn't irritate my skin

not great
True Glow by Conair Silicone Face Mask Applicator and Remover, All-in-One Tool Blends, Applies and Removes Facial Masks with Gentle Exfoliation My daughter and my wife love having their at home spa days. My wife saw this and thought that it would be great to have a tool to make it less messy when they put on their face masks. They both said that the applicator side of the tool works really well, but not that much better than using their fingers. The other side of the tool, the removal side, seems to not work that well, and my daughter simply uses it with her facial cleanser. Maybe other users will find this tool more useful, but my wife and daughter don’t really need it, after all

Just ok, vibration is kind of pointless
Honestly I think the battery operation on this Conair true glow mask applicator is pretty pointless. All it does is vibrate a little bit and doesn’t really aid at all in the process of applying or removing a face mask. However I actually like the tool itself for the most part. I like using this for applying and removing masks much more than using my fingers. I feel like with the silicone brush side you can really work the mask in as your taking it off. This tool is especially helpful for face masks that come in jars since it’s much more sanitary, and less messy, to use the spatula side to scoop out the product. I do still have to use my fingers though to spread the mask around on my face. It would take forever to use the spatula to apply it to my whole face! Overall it’s just ok in my opinion. I have been using it, and will continue to do so, but I don’t think it’s a must have.

No Battery Included; Not Much Use for This Skincare Tool ...
The "True Glow by Conair Silicone Face Mask Applicator and Remover" is another of those personal care tools that make absolutely no sense. If you need to remove a facial mask, you are better off using a washcloth. Using this skincare tool, you must either scrape the mask off - not ideal for skin - or you must put up with the vibration which does little to remove facial masks. Conair needs to stick with hair care products, an area in which they excell, rather than venturing too far afield.

Meh. I can do a better job with my fingers and a washcloth. I was disappointed in this gadget
True Glow by Conair looks more impressive than it turns out to be. One end is a spatula that can help blend and spread a mask mixture on your face. The other end is supposed to help remove the mask. The whole gadget is supposed to prevent you from touching your own face, which I don't find to be an issue. My hands are clean. But is it necessary? Does it do a better job? The spatula end did a good job scooping out the mask without getting it under my nails. I can see where someone with long nails might benefit from a tool. But most masks come with little scoops already. I found the brush end to be messy and useless. It has a very slight vibration which doesn't really serve a purpose. The silicone bristles feel kind of good on my skin but not enough to justify the gadget. I still had to use a washcloth to get all of the mask off my face. Overall I didn't find this tool to be useful. Using it makes mask removal more cumbersome. It requires storage space. And a battery. I expected to feel like I had a good facial. But it wasn't an upgrade. I just didn't like it.

thumbs up for applicator, not sure about the removal
I don’t know about this one. I use a lot of masks. I don’t mind using my fingers to apply (my nails are short.) I don’t love how long it takes and how “splashy” it gets to remove some of these tenacious masks, which is why I try to use them before my shower - much easier to rinse off in there! So, I was intrigued by this tool - mainly by the “removal” feature. Instead, I liked the applicator well enough - the spatula fits into most of my mask bottles, and actually does quite a good job with the application. It’s more even, and I use less, and … it’s FUN… like painting!!! I was less impressed with the “removal” - it really doesn’t remove, just mushes the dried mask around. The (very) gentle massage is pleasant, but it doesn’t really help with mask removal. I still ended up needing to rinse. I did try this with both a mud mask and a softer hyaluronic acid mask. It didn’t really help with either mask.

Okay But Not Essential
I am mixed on this product. Do you need it? No. The applicator is nice. It saves product, protects from contamination and saves hands from feeling icky. The remover is not effective. You do better with a wash cloth. However the vibration provides a nice massage and helps with cleaning. Found it irritating that no battery was included. 3.5 stars

Bulky but ok
This is bigger and bulkier than I expected, but that is my own fault for not looking more carefully at descriptions. The mask end can be difficult to use because of how big it is. The scrubber end doesn't get into corners and creases of the nose etc, but still does a good job elsewhere to help remove masks. The vibrating feature is basically non existent. I don't mind that though. You feel it vibrate very mildly in the unit itself, but the vibrations don't really transfer to your face. So if you're looking to have that specifically, you probably won't like this one.
