Sun protection

Perfect hat for working out in sun after skin cancer on top of ear. After having cancer burned off and I wasn’t going to do that again so I got this hat for protection

As advertised

This is my second one, just a different color. They are decent boonie type hats for the price. Living in an extremely hot and sunny area, a boonie type hat is great for the beach or yard work to keep the sun from killing your head. The material is light enough to be comfortable in the heat, but durable enough to take a beating. Will order again if needed. They are size specific so make sure your know your hat size when ordering.

Good, strong made hat.

Nice, well made hat. As described, with wider brim than traditional boonies hats. As far as size accuracy, I ordered a 7 1\2. It was a little loose, while all my other 7 1\2 hats fit just right or even a little snug. But, it is not so loose that I would call the size incorrect. I will attempt machine washing the hat and see if that will snug it up a bit. The material & build quality is equal to or better than the hats I was issued in the military. A very solid hat. All in all. I am very pleased with the hat.

Excellent quality!

Very nice boonie hat. I love the digital desert patern. The brim is 03 inches wide which provide very good shade and protection while in the Arizona desert. No complains whatsoever. Happy customer here.

too large and awkward

Fit was good and the pattern is as expected. But the design and cut of this cover is really not to my liking. The top is too high and it creates an awkward look if your head is slightly smaller than average. I than bought the Rothco boonie hat in the same pattern for half the price. The Rothco styling, color and general design is exactly the same, but the cut is much better than tru-spec. It looks more appropriately proportioned for smaller heads.

Nice Boonie Hat.

Sizing is good. I purchased a similar hat in the same size but from another manufacturer and it was too snug to wear comfortably. Good color on the camo pattern. I've worn it in the river and in the surf, with no fading so far. Good construction overall. This is the first gen type hat. There is also a gen 2 hat with universal sizing, but I prefer this style.

brim is larger than I anticipated

the brim is a bit larger than i had anticipated, but it uses the correct colours and it's comfy

A1 quality, but unsure about the size.

The quality of the hat is excellent, the fabric is nice and thick, not like something you would buy from the dollar store. I only have an issue with the size. I measured my head and used a chart I found online to determine the size but I find that the hat is very tight. They should have their own chart so that we can me sure of the sizes.
