Shoe is better on paper

So the shoe has this fabric that has (to me) an unappealing texture and look to it, that is not as noticeable on the web pictures. That is just personal preference on my part. BUT… I have almost fallen using these shoes several times. Not just in water but mud leaves and lightly soiled side walks. The tread on these shoes is terrible! That being sd I have yet to fall but almost fallen many times. So now I have to walk very carefully. Marty da mensch

Sizing is way off

Tried the size my son wears and one size smaller but both were way too big. The sizing of these shoes is way off.

Wears out quick, start to hurt to wear

Second pair of TOMs, and my last. This didn't even last a few days of wear, it just wears out instantly and goes from comfortable to absolutely not comfortable, to the point where I just gave up and bought real shoes from a real company that actually knows how to make shoes that last a long time. My first pair of Toms didn't last long either actually, a single trip to Mexico and they were wasted and I threw them out, however I was foolish enough to think that was just a fluke. Anyways, for the two pairs cost, you can buy real shoes. Toms is not a real shoe. They are after your money and that's all. They are comfortable for just a short time and then they just start hurting your feet.
