Beautiful cards, my third pack of their art cards

These are beautiful holiday cards. I've already sent two other packs in the past couple years. I like that they are not using tree paper. The artwork is fantastic and the messages are thoughtful - not the typical, generic blather of most holiday cards nowadays. (Sorry other card message writers, but you could update your phrases a bit.) And the envelopes are decorated! Win, win, win.

Gorgeous!

These may be the most beautiful and tasteful holiday cards I've ever purchased. Lovely and charming artwork, simple text, and (important for me) non-religious but the imagery could be interpreted as spiritual if a recipient wanted to see it that way. I wasn't expecting the envelopes to be as nice as the actual cards, but they are. And an eco-friendly product, to boot. A real winner, glad I ordered as many as I did.

I bought these as holiday cards for friends and family who are not particularly religious and they were perfect. Well made. Don’t feel cheap in your hand. Colors are vibrant. Message general enough that no one had ruffled feathers. I would order cards made by this company, from this seller, again.

Manufacturing Errors in Design of Card & Envelope, & Lack of Gold Foil

This is my second year buying cards designed by Tree-Free Greetings. Last year's were perfect. This year's of this card design all came damaged with manufacturer/printer errors. Hence, 2 stars. As you can see from the attached photos, every envelope has a blue line cutting through the design on the back left side, perpendicular down across the flap. Meanwhile, almost every card has this strange ink smudge spot on/between the text, which you can see when light catches the card. I tilted it with light shining on it to show you what I mean. It seems to me like a printer roller was messed up and ruined the batch. I bought 4 sets of these cards (40) and every batch is like this. It suggest poor quality control / review. So, it's a bit of a disappointment. I kept them to mail only because I did not find another card that I liked better in the meantime. The other thing worth knowing is that there is no gold foil on these cards. The design, particularly of the moon and the rays coming off of it, imply/suggest that it is gold foil. In person, however, you can see that it is a picture of foil for the moon. It is not actually metallic/shiny in person. I wondered this when I saw the cards online. I hope identifying this helps others who consider this design. I still like the company. I wish they had added more new designs this year. I did buy one set of a design I got and loved last year, and that set was perfectly fine. (Warmth in your home, love in your heart, peace in your soul...) I'm using it for newer folks in our lives who didn't see last year's card. Since I have a couple from last year left compared with the new ones, I can see that the ink on this year's of that design is much richer. So, all things put together, I think the quality of the Tree-Free company cards varies greatly. If you buy anything from them, check the cards immediately and make any returns if desired. I hope this helps.
