Good For Small Pets

The media could not be loaded. I got this carrier for our mid-sized cat who's old carrier doesn't have much support, so he'd get squished if we didn't hold the bottom of the carrier. Glad that he (the black cat) took to it right away! I like to leave new carriers out so our cats can get used to them on their own and won't be as afraid of them when we do have to transport them in it. Structure: This has decent structure. The bottom of this has a solid piece of plastic that goes underneath the cushion, but the sides are pretty soft. I would like this more if there was some kind of metal frame throughout the sides to give more structure. Size: This carrier is kind of small. I wouldn't recommend this for any larger than a medium sized cat or a small dog. Our orange cat in the video is large. He's about 13 pounds and in general is a large built cat. He can fit in this and if we had to transport him in this we could, but he wasn't comfortable in it, thus we'll keep using his large plastic carrier for him. Design: The design of this is a bit odd. At the bottom of the carrier there's a strip of one side of velcro. The other side is on the bottom of the cushion. If you put the plastic bottom in the carrier, it goes in between the two pieces of velcro, making that effectively useless lol. I do like that there's a leash built into the carrier just for extra security. It's also nice to be able to see your pet and that there's a lot of air flow. Handle / Strap comfort: These could use more padding. The handles are just nylon straps and the shoulder strap is as well, with a adjustable pad, but it's pretty thin. It's fine for carrying a pet short distances, but it wouldn't be the most ideal for travel. Overall I do like this carrier, but could use some improvements. It's good for transporting small animals to the vet, but wouldn't recommend it if you'll be traveling and doing a lot of walking with this.

smallish, good quality, good price, and my cranky old cat loves it

Biggest recommendation point: my 20-year-old gargoyle who usually fights to stay out of the carrier voluntarily went and laid in this when it was on the floor. Nice features: - so much mesh for anxious cats who like to see things - soft texture to the mesh - cushy mat inside - leash hook to keep your wiggly pet in the carrier - opens up an enormous amount for cats who struggle - fairly sturdy bottom even when using the shoulder strap - price is decent, though when I ordered it, the price was a couple dollars cheaper at $29.21 Neutral to negative?: - a bit small for some animals? This was not a problem for my cat, but if you have something maybe a little larger than a standard domestic shorthair cat you may struggle with them in this a little For me this is a surprisingly great find, given my cranky old cat loving this so much.

Kitty Needs Sedation in order to Close All Zippers

There are two styles of this pet carrier available to pick from...we received the two-sided entry. We place Kitty inside and she is OK as long as the top zipper isn't closed. She likes to keep her head above the top horizontal flap...like peering out from a hole. As soon as we close the top zipper...she gets very anxious and turns round and round inside (trying to find a way out?). She fits lengthwise...barely. Her back would be up against the upper roof when she stands, but we don't have much experience with that since she freaks when we zipper the roof close. This carrier is well constructed and of good materials. The pad on the floor is removable for cleaning. I do not see any reference to "Airline Approved" within the Seller's literature. We will be using this where we have control and keep the roof zipper open. This carrier is perfect for taking her to the vet, or for emergency egress from home and keeping reasonable control of the pet during the event. This would not work for us where transportation authorities would want the pet enclosed.

Good quality, comfortable lining on the inside

This carrier worked out great for our cats ride to the vet. Cushioned on the inside and comfortable for pets. The straps are sturdy and the mesh lining jeeps the pet cool and able to breathe. I would recommend this.

Not very comfortable.

When I am on the go with pup the first thing I look for is comfort. This strap rubs my neck, isn't padded the length it needs to be and tilts to the side so pup can't relax.

Nice carry for my cat

I got this pet carrier for my cat. The carrier is well-made, sturdy and durable. I like the mesh on all sides, so he can easily see me and I can easily see him. He likes the bed in it, which makes him more comfortable for travel. I really like the zipper sides, and the ability to carry it in my hands or use the shoulder strap. This has been a good quality carrier for us.

Well made for a small pet

This is a very well made bag to transport a small pet in. It is very sturdy and zippers/ hardware are high quality. It reminds me of a camera bag-but with mesh instead of canvas. I originally got this for our new petite Juevenile cat and have not used it yet. I like that it fully opens and has a little padding area that is actually removable and that any animal would be able to see out through the mesh when placed inside ( decreasing anxiety). It is much easier to pick up/carry when compared with the hard plastic type. I do not know if our cat will share the same enthusiasm about this but will remain hopeful.

Lightweight Pet Carrier

This is a fairly well made, lightweight pet carrier, suitable for small dogs or cats. Opens on both ends with mess sides and works to carry to vet appointments and for short travel. Can be folded flat when not in use for easier storage. Reasonably priced and handles are relatively comfortable, plus also has a shoulder strap.
