Mine was defective, but it seems nice

Feels more durable than similarly-shaped generic models. The display is a very good high contrast LCD. The belt holster is a very handy alternative to a neck strap if that isn't working for you. The setting mode is accessed with a long press of the mode button, rather than the common setup where it goes into setting mode if you click past the stopwatch mode. I prefer this setup, so short presses of the mode button just toggle between clock view and stopwatch. The buttons do not have any click feel, but they are nonetheless very reliable. Unlike most non-clicky buttons, these have no problem with failing to register or registering double taps incorrectly. So not good if you prefer clicks (I normally do), but if you need don't like clicks this one works very well. The case and display window seem very thick and hefty.

I suspect that I received a returned stopwatch

The box had been opened before I received it. The cheap plastic film container holding the product was damaged/torn when I opened the box. I was unable to set the day and date on the stopwatch. I suspect that this stopwatch was a return from another buyer. The rest of its functionality seemed ok. The stopwatch looks good and feels good in my hand. I am returning this one for a replacement. I knocked one star off my review for the trouble of returning it. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I received the replacement stopwatch today. I realized that I did not follow the written procedure when I tried to set the Day and Date. I was able to do so with the replacement. There is probably nothing wrong with the first one. Returning the first one was fast and easy. I really like this stopwatch and the price was a lot lower than what I expected to pay. I added another star to my overall rating and I would give another one here if I could.
