Case is a problem, and the Lifetime Guarantee is no longer offered - repeat customer.

I have been using this product for many years. They used to have a "Lifetime Guarantee". They did replace my first set of glasses for free, but I had to pay for shipping $5.00 at the time. Ok, in the meantime they improved on the nose piece. I had read that the lifetime guarantee is on the original purchase only, so I bought a new pair recently when the replacement finally broke. My new pair cost a little more as everything does, but now there is no paperwork on any Lifetime Guarantee. Upon logging into their website where I originally registered for the warranty, it did not have my information but it suggested that if there was a problem logging in, it could be because they updated their website. I was told to use the same email address when recreating a password so any purchases would be reflected. Surprise, there is no record of previous purchases. More exploration shows a 6-month warranty on new products. I did not register my second purchase, but they should have a record of the original purchase and replacement. I hope this does not happen to anyone who bought under the Lifetime warranty and has not needed to replace the product yet. The other big issue with me is the CASE that came with the glasses. The new case is a hard plastic, not a softer rubber type as before. You would have to force the glasses inside which I am not willing to do. I am using my older case that I still have. Maybe it was just the white color that has this problem since I ordered black last time but that would be strange. I gave it 3 stars because you really need a functional case to protect the unique glasses and we are now asked to pay more for less warranty. I do like the product, if you can live with these changes.

Pocket size

My brother had them on a visit. I thought they were great so I looked them up. They fit in my wallet & when I forget my glasses, they are there to the rescue !!!

Handy product, but fragile

These are great little readers, but the nosepieces both fell off within a few months and then the glasses were too uncomfortable to wear. Waste of money.

Never go blind again!

I never leave home without my iPhone. And I will never again be hobbled by my vision. I now buy ThinOptics by the dozen and give them away to friends and strangers when they ask about them. Restaurants, bars, grocery store, etc. people constantly and consistently ask where I got my pair - so I reach into my laptop bag and hand them their own and tell them I purchased them here, at Amazon. Are they perfect? No. I normally snap the little nose pieces off after just a couple months. So what? ThinOptics backs their product with a full replacement guarantee! Are they a fashion statement? No. Who cares? I'm not wearing them to the dinner party to compliment my outfit. They are there so that I do not have to carry expensive glasses everywhere I go! As an experiment, I recently purchased several competitor products to see if I would like anything better. For me, No. Alternatives to ThinOptics, I found, were most often bulkier, had metal or other fatter sticky cases, often were less flexible and pinched my nose bridge. I can now barely remember how often I had been frustrated by a recipe, a prescription drug instructions, a news article, etc. simply because I was effectively blind (even though my vision Rx is super mild).

Portable glasses

I these portable reading glasses! Ladies if you need glasses to help you read these are perfect for the hair salon. I get my hair colored and I have never wanted to ruin my reading glasses. No rims. Fit on the nose comfortably. No worries about ruining the rims.

Nice small reading glasses

Small enough to fit in the small pocket of my wallet while in the case. Lightweight is a plus. The only disappointment is if the case were attached to my phone it would interfere with wireless charging.

Leve, discreto e prático

Produto com boa lente e flexibilidade de armação. A ponte do óculos (que une as duas lentes) é áspera o que pode gerar desconforto no apoio ao nariz. Fixa muito bem seja na raiz, dorso ou ápice do nariz. Case rígido e fino com fita autocolante na parte posterior. Na minha avaliação não há nada que desabone ou que esteja ausente das características inerentes ao produto.
