Very user friendly

The only tape I use to ensure a properly bonded joint between my bumper and my car. Used some of this to reconnect the body kit of a Scion xA, held fast for the six months I needed it. Pretty sure it melted because when I finally got around to replacing the bolts, it was a solid slab of plastic. Outside of automotive uses, I'm baffled what this tape is for but use it for just about everything anyway. Drum parts, guitar parts, cable patches, sticking wifi equipment to things it shouldn't stick to, unsticking cat hair to things it shouldn't stick to, wallets, truly the king of all tape.

OK, not great adhesion

Today I made a super large bunny wreath for my door, and I used this duct tape to secure both ends of the pool noodle (bottom half of bunny wreath). One end slipped out of the duct tape and I know I had secured it really tight. Overall adhesive-I give it a 3-4 star.

The original ducK tape

We liked the adhesion as we used the tape to apply duck cloth to plywood. Mainly, since my spouse and I understood the tape's name differently - he thought it was duct tape and I thought it was duck tape - so we got a great kick out of looking it up. It is, in fact, often known as duct tape to tape ducts with, but the original tape was called duck tape, which was created by applying adhesive to duck cotton cloth - the 'duck' is from a Dutch word referring to a particular weave of the cotton cloth, so the company called it duck tape. Very cool, so we purchased the original Duck Tape and we are pleased with it.

Best brand of tape

I like duck tape the most as it it alot more easy to use then other brands. Its easier to rip and the adhesive stays strong even though it's been pulled off. Just wish it wasn't as pricey.
