Perfect for the Dachshund lover!

I bought this for when we go camping and it has been a hit! We have four Dachshunds and Dachsie nuts lol. Anyone who has Dachshunds know you can't just have one.... they are like tater chips because each one is so unique! We got the game and it is so much fun. The money is really flimsy and the board is not super sturdy. The game pieces are adorable and well made. The Good Dog! Bad Dog! cards are a lot of fun. I gave it 4 stars because it is so much fun! Just be gentle with the money, it is pretty fragile. But overall, a fun and cute game!

Fun Doxie board game

It's a typical Monopoly game oriented around dachshunds. The properties on the board are dogs, there is a 'Good Dog' and 'Bad Dog' pile card, a kennel as jail, and the 'hotel' upgrades are small boxes that are considered as 'toys' and large bone pieces for the higher upgrades. The property dog cards also have factoids on the back of them which is fun to read aloud when you decide to purchase them. The game pieces are a flea, mailman, dog bowl, T-bone, fire hydrant, and a cat. I would have preferred several different colored dachshunds with the different varying coat lengths as that would have been far prettier to go with the concept of the board theme, however the metal pieces fit the classic Monopoly feel. Aside from that, the board game was pretty fun. The Good and Bad Dog cards seemed like they were switched in some circumstances, but that made it more entertaining to me. It's a good board game, especially if you like Monopoly, and I would say it'd make a great gift, too.

Monopoly with Dachshunds???

Yes, it's Monopoly, only with Dachshunds as the central motif. The overall game is the same, and it can be just a competitive and cutthroat as the regular game. Definitely for dog-lovers, or Dachshund-philes. Definitely NOT for those who don't like Monopoly.

Waiting to play with grandkids
