Strange fit, so a bit of a diy

My daughter is long and thin. She is 3 months old and about 12 lbs. While this outfit fit perfectly as far as the top length and leggings width, the waist is sooooo tight. Feels like infant waist size. Ugh. I think 6/9 will be too big, so I ordered extra elastic and fabric glue and will try to expand that waist myself. It really should be more flexible, because it's the perfect looking outfit.

Tight fit

This is super cute, but our baby is on the slender side and this was pretty snug on her in the size she currently wears in other baby clothes. I’d exchange it for the next size up so she can get longer and more comfortable wear out of it, but they don’t have all the styles in all the sizes.
